The SJ5K is a student-run event supported by community volunteers and local businesses.  Since 2011, the SJ5K has helped over 55 families facing extraordinary crisis situations.  Canton Boys Soccer is a proud Gold Sponsor of the SJ5K and its mission to help families in the Plymouth-Canton community.

In support of the 2024 SJ5K, Canton Boys Soccer will be hosting charity games during our home games against our Park opponents.  These games will occur on the following dates:

MONDAY SEPTEMBER 11, 2023 (vs Plymouth):  Freshmen at 4 p.m. Freshman Field

TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 12, 2023 (vs. Salem):  JV at 5 p.m. / Varsity at 7 p.m.  Location TBD

THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 21, 2023 (vs. Plymouth):  JV at 5 p.m. / Varsity at 7 p.m. Location TBD

FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 22, 2023 (vs. Salem):  Freshmen at 4 p.m. Freshman Field

In support of the 2024 SJ5K, Canton Boys Soccer will be hosting charity games during our home games against our Park rivals. Various community and high school staff and student volunteers help make these games notable.  Pre-game and half-time events during the Varsity games will include: appearances by youth soccer players from the DCFC & Plymouth Reign soccer clubs, The Chiefettes, SJ5K representatives, the Canton HS principal and staff. 

Soccer fans and community members can come to the games and help support SJ5K in the following ways:

1. Donate:  Cash donations will be collected during charity games.  Spectators are encouraged to “stuff the bucket” with cash or Venmo Canton Boys Soccer by using the QR code below or sending the donation to @CantonBoysSoccer (last four digits: 9218).  Please mark “Charity” in the memo of any Venmo donations.  All proceeds will be donated to the SJ5K.

2. Visit the concession stand:  A portion of proceeds from the concession stand during our charity games will be donated to SJ5K. 

3. Purchase an SJ5K Bracelet:  Purchase a $3 bracelet to show your support for SJ5K and be entered into a drawing to receive a $25 gift card to Chipotle. Purchase the bracelet for $5 to be entered into the Chipotle drawing AND shoot a PK on Canton Principal David Reed-Nordwall at halftime of the Varsity games. Bracelets can be purchased near the  concession stand using cash or Venmo (as described above).  All proceeds will be donated to the SJ5K.

• On November 4, 2023, order from Chipotle:  Order online or in person from the 42404 Ford Road, Canton location from 5 to 9 p.m.  For online orders, use promo code AWJ8DXP on the Chipotle app or website. For in person orders, show the cashier a picture of the flier to ensure we get credit.
